I recently made the switch from being a loyal Nissan fan for 18 years to purchasing a GMC Canyon AT4X from Cutter Buick GMC, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Initially, I was set on custom ordering a GMC Canyon Denali, but when I saw the AT4X pop up just days before my lease on my Nissan Frontier Pro4X was set to expire, I knew I had to check it out. Johnny, my sales consultant, was fantastic—he guided me through the test drive, showcasing the truck's impressive off-road capabilities and luxurious interior. Although the price was higher than I anticipated, Johnny's enthusiasm and expertise convinced me it was worth it. He even helped me discuss the decision with my wife, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I've had the AT4X for over seven months now, and it's due for an oil change. The service department has been incredibly helpful, especially with my orders for OEM parts. Great atmosphere and our sales representatives was outstanding. Anderson got us where we wanted, probably the fastest negotiation I’ve done since owning quite a few cars. In a nutshell we drove off in a 2020 Expedition at the price point we wanted to be, not what the dealership wanted. Which is always a plus as I’m used to just taking a hike with pressure sales. I would love to give it 5* but my only issues was waiting to see financing.
Very Dishonest, just wants to rip you off! They lie by putting one price online but as soon as you show interest they jack it up! I found a new truck with the online price at $49600, as soon as I showed interest they jacked it up to $70000! When I asked why they replied it was a 20% supply and demand fee. Are you serious?? What happened to being honest and treating the hard working people that support you without trying to rip them off. If you can't be honest from the beginning then how can anyone expect you to be honest after you buy the car??

There is a reason I never do business with Cutter, and I should have stuck to that but I gave them another shot, and what happened? They let me down like usual. Finance manager (Kevin Grant) reaches out to me about the application I submitted for financing. He submits me in 2 cars to a ton of banks. All declined! The he text me out of the blue and says hey we got a 2012 Volvo with only 26,000 miles I submitted you for financing on it. Never seen the car and didn’t know about it until then. He tells me he would try and get it done by Monday (today). Last night I go online to see the pics of the car and show my mom, and find out it been sold. I text Kevin and when he finally replies he says he found out it had sold too. So I find another vehicle on the website I liked and text him about it.....never replies again! I love living in Hawaii, but I hate that Cutter owns so many dealerships. There is only a handful to choose from. This one by far has the worst customer service!
Working with Matthew, Nohili and Tom was worth the visit to Cutter GMC. The bonus was a new Canyon. They kept their word and made another happy customer.
Tom Naughton is the person that you want to deal with when visiting the dealership, he is very knowledgeable, he listens to what you want and he goes above and beyond to make it happen and keeps you in your desired price range with no strings attached. This is the 3rd car that I have purchased from this dealership because the service is excellent and I have never been steered wrong.
I am truly blessed to have my cars serviced at Cutter Buick and GMC Waipahu. They are always professional and timely on their service. The one thing that stands out for me is the atmosphere. Great customer service! My salesman was such a sweet young man, easy to talk to and was very respectful. Even took me to my mothers house to pick up my paystubs! He and and his manager made me understand why purchasing a newer vehicle made sense. It’s my very first brand new vehicle and I love my new truck! I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

Oil Change turned into oil cap not put back on. Oil all over my engine and I feel they didn't take any great service to help better the situation , but clean it half xxx and say sorry. oh and cant forget to a free car wash. oh mind you that I have to take on my own to the flag ship car wash! I just cant believe all I got was "I am sorry for this and there is NO CHARGE" no duh no charge how would you even think to try and charge me something on something I didn't do?! Business needs more training. Only nice part of the day was the tow truck driver was awesome and nice!
Horrible customer service. Staff unfriendly and rude. Scheduled an oil change that was told was my last one covered under warranty. Go there after working 12 hours, to find out already expired 2 months prior than originally told. I would’ve got my oil changed some where closer to my home, instead of wasting my time. Then it would take almost 2 hours to do even after having an appointment. Basically asked for the manager and request was ignored. Felt that he really didn’t care! Will never buy a car from them again or plan on getting any further service at this location.
Services at this dealership went from great to worst of all in a matter of months. It’s obvious the service desk is overwhelmed with customer complaints due to quality is maintenance services. It’s either we don’t have the people to do the work or you’ll need to make another appointment to resolve other problem that you did not indicate on your scheduled appointment. Management should look into these concerns. My next purchase will certainly not be at this dealership.
If you love your vehicle DO NOT GO HERE!!! They are not only rude but they don’t know what they are doing! I would not send my worst enemy here.
I was in the market for a new vehicle and was deciding between the GMC Canyon or the Chevy Colorado. After test driving both vehicles at the respective Cutter dealerships, it was a no-brainer that the Canyon was the truck for me. Mel and his team took awesome care of me and the process was smooth and fast. Best vehicle choice and best dealership!
I recently purchased a new vehicle and like everyone else I went to numerous dealerships. After doing loads of research we decided to purchase a GMC Acadia. Kameron was the salesman that assisted my wife and I and he was extremely helpful. They bent over backwards for me so I could get a new vehicle that fits my monthly budget even at the cost of taking a hit on the trade-in. Not many dealerships will do that in my experience, they treated me great, didn't pressure me to buy anything, introduced me to the management team who helped even more and asked me to return the following week to meet the service staff and promised to help me get a few upgrades since it was late when I purchased the vehicle. I felt like they wanted my business unlike other dealerships in the area where there were so many people it took me an hour to speak with anyone and after finally talking to a salesmen he didn't have much information to give me or seem to care I wanted a new vehicle. As long as I am on island I will be returning to the dealership whenever I need a new vehicle! Great job Kameron and his manager whom I can't remember his name!
I have a Buick that I bought from them. The car is 10 months old the air bags service keeps coming on and on star said it needed to be service. I brought it to service they had the car a week and said there is nothing they could do because it’s not staying on the whole time. So they gave the car back after doing nothing. They also can’t garrentee that the air bags will work if I am in an accident just lovely! This is the second car from them the first was a truck and the transmission went out in it not even two years after we bought it brand new. Never again will I buy from them. I also have the report from onstage and a pic of the dash with the light on.
They aim to please. It was closing time and they found someone to fix our flat. Their service is always good and the employees pleasant to be around.
This make my second visit and they have treated me and family like first class. Once I arrived miss Coral meet me outside the service parking lot. The oil change and tire rotation took about one hour and got my truck back wash and clean.
Would have liked to get a lower monthly payment, but considering my circumstances of my trade in, it's okay I guess. But I really love my Yukon, it's awesome!
I gave them an offered for 2016 Yukon the salesman & manager agreed but when we were about to sealed the deal they increased 5 thousand more on the price. We argued on lowering the price they disagree my wife and I left this stupid dealership without buying a vehicle. Thank Goodness we never buy one with these crooks we got a good deal with Chevrolet we bought a 2016 Suburban. Love our new ride.
Can't believe I wasted so much time here, long story short is, the salesman offered us a rock bottom "out the door price" that he just spoke to his boss about, when we accept the offer and start doing paperwork, the mangers and sales team get together and wanna jack up the price on us... And I ain't talking about sales tax, reg, and dock fees, because all that was already negotiated.. Now the big bosses want to sit you down in there big office and tell you how much of a deal you are getting even after they just raised there offer on you.. I don't know how you guys do business or how you guys buy/sell cars, but once you put a offer on the table to someone on EiTHER party, I think you should stand by it.. THiS dealership here obviously Couldn't and just wasted my time.. And No deal was made..
just horrible will never go back, I wish they prices come down and don't take a whole week to pay people back their money!! I had to call them like a bill collector!!!
